Thursday, April 27th, students from both CC Winn and Eagle Pass High School joined together for a luncheon with Mr. Gilberto Gonzalez, EPISD Superintendent of Schools, Winn Principal Mr. Jesus Diaz-Wever, and EPHS Principal Mr. John Cox
The students in attendance were members of Mr. Gonzalez' Superintendent's Advisory Council and were treated to a delicious meal at Chili's to toast and applaud all the accomplishments the council has achieved this school year.
The luncheon also served as a farewell to the 4 Class of 2017 members, who also are the last remaining founding members.
Erik Chavarria, Angelica Garza, Magaly Hernandez, and Carlo Rodriguez are the last council members that created the school district's award winning "Go Green" iniative. They will be dearly missed!
They are also leaving a new tradition behind, as being the first group of Superintendent's Advisory Council to earn stoles for their graduation ceremonies!
