FALL Into Writing with WHS

As the weather cools down and the first nine weeks comes to an end, we all need some motivation to keep us going. Well, Monday, October 16th, some of the super "STAAR" writers at Winn practiced their timed writing.
Teachers gave students an allotted number of minutes (anywhere from 50 to 60 mins.) to complete their essays. This practice helps all students taking their STAAR exam learn to pace themselves on their standard assessment(s). To keep students motivated, and help them shift gears into the new season, some teachers encouraged students to turn their essays into Frankenstein or a scarecrow.

Things are looking SPOOKtacular at WINN!
