Monday, October 2nd, Pete Gallego Elementary had Diana Sanchez from South Texas Rural Health Services come and work with their 6th grade students.
The curriculum is designed to enhance life skills, and encourage healthy choices among youth.
South Texas Rural Health Services is a non-profit organization that offers prevention education programs consisting of the delivery of evidence based curriculum, presentations, and substance-free alternative activities to the community; as well as behavioral health and substance abuse counseling.
