Maverick Football Supports Pink Out

CC Winn Maverick Football has been wearing ribbon t-shirts, pink decals, and anything that adds a pop of pink to their uniform, showing their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and it’s survivors.
October means so much to the team, and their coaches, and they believe that doing anything to raise awareness towards this cause can make a world of difference.
Head Coach Eric Villasenor thoughts Breast Cancer Awareness Month are as follows, ¨I’ve been through cancer and it affects you physically and mentally, and to raise awareness will mean so much to those people who have been through it as well.”
And when talking about his seniors he said, “They’re a great group of kids and they’ve been through a lot -they’re tough, resilient… but we’re not done yet.”
Maverick Nation would like to commend the Maverick Varsity Football team for not only being great athletes, but for also being individuals who care about the world around them!
Go Mavericks!
