Mrs. Montes at Pete Gallego Elementary wants her students motivated and learning at all times, so she connects her Math lessons to real life situations.
On Wednesday, October 25th, Mrs. Montes connected her activity with play money!
In this activity, money was related to decimals and fractions.
Students were able to practice writing the expanded notation and word form for money amounts given to them by their partners.
The Lobos love to work with hands on manipulatives because it makes learning fun!
