On October 17th, the migrant program led by Mrs. Ruby Perez at C. C. Winn High School, took a group of 20 migrant students on a college tour to University of Texas - San Antoino and Texas A&M University-San Antonio.
The students were greeted at UTSA by a friendly face, C. C. Winn Alumni, Jaslyn Garza who conducted the tour of her home campus. The tours to these different campuses allowed the students an opportunity to view just a couple of the options they have as far as career choices.
During the trip students were exposed to the many components that complete the college experience including, campus life, transportation, educational facilities, and even extra curricular opportunities.
The students were excited to taste a little bit of what their future will hold for them should they decide to make one of these campuses their home.
