October 10th, C.C. Winn National Honor Society visited elementary schools across Maverick Nation.
The schools involved were Sam Houston, Ray Darr, Robert. E. Lee, San Luis, Benavides, Rosita Valley, Henry B. Gonzaelz, and Perfecto Mancha.
The topic for October's visit was the importance of honesty.
NHS members had the elementary students participate in an activity called "Two Truths and one Lie" where they encouraged the children to learn about the difficulties and consequences that come with lying.
This event happens once every month and the children are thrilled every time the members visit.
Each month holds a different topic.
