Winn Rescues Dog

On, Tuesday, October 3rd, a group of teachers at Winn High School became aware of the presence of two stray dogs on school grounds. Knowing that the lives of these dogs were at risk, these teachers quickly sought a way to ensure their well being.
Unfortunately, one of the dogs left the premises and despite the efforts put forth to find him, they were not successful.
The Buddy Foundation was contacted and Mrs. Sandy Tovar, who immediately made her way to the campus to assist with the stray dog, received the help of Sergeant Gamez to safely carry the dog to the vehicle that would take him to his new vet.
C. C. Winn would like to thank Mrs. Tovar for her speedy response and willingness to help our furry friends find a safe home.
It really does take a village...
