Saturday, April 21st, some student representatives from Winn Student Council volunteered at the annual Step by Step Special Needs Event.
Members of the community gathered together at the Multipurpose Center to enjoy games, booths and a special recognition ceremony for participants in the walkathon.
It is through the support of the community that the Angels from Heaven Club can continue to host this event that promotes awareness and acceptance towards people with disabilities.
StuCo enjoyed spending their Saturday partnered up with their fellow Mavericks from the Winn Life Skills classes.
