Thursday, November 29th, Mr. Cruz' 5th grade class at Seco Mines learned about weathering and erosion.
Weathering is the breaking down of rocks, soil, and minerals as well as wood and artificial materials through contact with the Earth's atmosphere, water, and biological organisms
Erosion happens when rocks and sediments are picked up and moved to another place by ice, water, wind or gravity.
The Miners are learning as much as they can so they can be prepared for the STAAR test in the spring.
Way to go Miners!
