Wednesday, November 28th, Mrs. Camarillo's 1st grade class at Graves Elementary worked in small groups over blending and segmenting words.
Blending involves pulling together individual sounds or syllables within words; segmenting involves breaking words down into individual sounds or syllables.
The students blended and segmented words with a picture and worked on a puzzle game.
