Mrs.Galindo’s Medical Assistance class at CC Winn High School has been working hard taking notes, studying in and out of class, as well as doing simulations of putting on and removing protective gear.
These exercises, which began on Monday, November 26th, assist the students in gaining knowledge and hands on experience to better prepare them for their future as medical assistants.
The assignments given to the students cover different aspects of medical assisting such as infection control, general patient care, and basic pharmacology.
Each one is gearing them for their upcoming certification exam on December 14th.
WHS wishes these Mavericks good luck as they use the next couple of weeks to prepare!
Go Mavericks!
