Monday, November 26th, the students in Winn's Early College Academy (ECA) started working on their Utopian group project for their Humanities Dual Credit course.
The project centers around the concept of creating their own self-governing “intentional community”. Each community is structured with a set of core values, such as rights and responsibilities.
The ECA students will also research humanity issues, like poverty, religious intolerance, political corruption, and environmental destruction.
As the students work on this project, they engage with students from other high schools who are also working on this same project.
