Learning is more meaningful when it can be applied to everyday life and teachers at Winn High make the connections.
Such is the case of Mrs. Martínez-Pérez, who to ensure better comprehension in her students, further challenged them by assigning an extra credit assignment.
The assignment required students to represent classification, properties, and changes in matter in their everyday life.
Friday, February 22nd, students presented their findings.
Students had to first identify the examples and then either take a selfie or place a note card with their name as evidence that they took the picture.
Students had fun completing this assignment.
