C.C. Winn and Eagle Pass High School's EKG class has been busy preparing for their national certification test.
With the help of their instructor, Judy Gonzalez, the students are learning to become EKG technicians and preparing themselves for the medical field.
EKG stands for electrocardiography, a process of recording the electrical activity of the heart over a period of time using electrodes places over the skin.
Friday, February 22nd, the students tested on each other for their EKG results to have a better experience of reading and using the EKG.
This experience will allow the students a better understanding of the EKG and prepare them for the workforce.
Good luck to Mavericks and Eagles on their national certification test.
