WHS State StuCo Report

Saturday, February 23rd,  CC Winn Student Council officers attended the State Report Verification hosted by Alamo Heights High School for District 15 in San Antonio, Texas.
Schools from around the state produce reports identifying the various projects, events and donations made by the Student Councils in 5 different categories: Pride & Patriotism, Energy & Environment, Community Service and DASH-Drug Alcohol Safety & Health.
Each report is graded/judged and points are calculated to receive recognition for the overall state awards.
C. C. Winn received the title of "Outstanding Council" in all 5 report categories, and an overall Sweepstakes for the Texas Association of Student Councils!
Maverick StuCo had the highest scores for the Pride & Patriotism and Energy & Environment reports in their District, and reported over 4,178 service hours in the Community Service category!
This is Winn's 12th time receiving sweepstakes since the initiation of the school.
StuCo is extremely proud of the work they have done, and will continue to do, for our students, staff and community.
Winn StuCo strives to maintain the high standards they have set for themselves.

Go Mavericks!
