Darr Learns Condensation

Friday, March 1st, Mr. Picazo's class at Ray Darr learned all about condensation!
The class got up close and personal with the concept with the help of a little dry ice.
Dry ice is the name for carbon dioxide in its solid state.
At room temperature, it will go from a solid to a gas directly.
While carbon dioxide gas is invisible, the very cold gas causes water vapor in the air to condense into water droplets, thus creating fog.
The students enjoyed watching the fog fill their classroom!
