On this day, people with Down Syndrome and those who live and work with them throughout the world organize and participate in activities and events to raise public awareness and create a single global voice for advocating for the rights, inclusion and well being of people with Down Syndrome.
Since this day falls during EPISD Spring Break, Kennedy Hall decided to ring in the day early to celebrate their Hawks!
Thursday, March 14th, the Hawks wore crazy socks to celebrate their very own Down Syndrome Day!
Crazy socks celebrate the differences and Kennedy celebrated fully as they also hosted a mini-parade for their students!
Go Hawks!
