Thursday, March 5th, Mrs. Rodriguez' English IV students at Eagle Pass High School dove into the wonderful world of poetry.
The Eagles were tasked with studying and reciting Sonnet 43 by Elizabeth Barrett Browning to their teacher.
Browning's Sonnet 43 employs antithesis and paradox to highlight the speaker's yearning for his beloved and sadness in their absence.
