Wednesday, March 13th, CC Winn's Lady Maverick Basketball Team was treated to a banquet at the Raul A. Gonzalez Fine Arts Building.
Several inspiring speeches were given by the coaching staff and special guest, Coach Villasenor. Before dinner, awards were presented to more than half of the team.
To cap the evening, seniors Ashley Cruz, Stela De Leon, Arleth Herrera, and Da’Shawn Nichols gave emotional farewell speeches.
The night marked the end of the season for the Lady Mavericks.
