Sunday, March 3rd, a large group of Winn National Honor Society members volunteered their time brightening the day for the many patrons attending the OLOR Altar Society's Loteria.
Over 30 students were on hand to offer their assistance selling tickets, passing out cards, distributing prizes and working the concession stand.
They also helped serve each table by passing out drinks and taking food orders for almost 200 guests and collected the trash from the event.
The teens were especially helpful in assisting the Altar Society women by picking up all the tables and chairs at the end of the busy afternoon.
The best type of service, is community service.
