WHS Persuades to be Kind

Wednesday, February 27th, students in Mrs. Mercer's class at Winn High took a moment to reflect on the concept of kindness.
Students wrote a persuasive essay taking a stand on whether or not people should be kind to everyone regardless of their treatment towards them.
Students noted on the fact that people should not just be kind on a specific day, but instead should be kind all the time.
They also considered various reasons as to why people should opt practice kindness consistently and produced impressive thought evoking essays.
Seniors Kayla Sifuentes and Jasmine Perez took this assignment into heart and applied what they preached.
Friday, March 1st, the students, out of the kindness of their heart, volunteered to help their teacher out by cleaning paintbrushes that were used on a project the class participated in.
They selflessly worked just because they wanted to be kind.
