Thursday, September 12th, seniors in Mrs. Mercer's class at Winn got one step closer to success as they completed the first step of their scholarship essays.
After brainstorming, drafting, and revising their essays in class, they headed to the library to type their first drafts.
The scholarship essay is perhaps one of the most important essays produced their senior year for it gives them an opportunity to receive financial assistance.
By completing this essay, students become qualifying candidates for the numerous scholarships that are made available to the graduating class by various businesses all around town.
