Once a month C.C. Winn High School's National Honor Society members visit 5th and 6th grade elementary students and talk to them about the six pillars of character. On Tuesday January 14th, 2020 three CC Winn NHS members, Alexia Guedea, Fernanda Renteria, and Herminia Garza visited a 6th grade class at Rosita Valley Elementary and talked about the importance of citizenship, which is one of the pillars. After explaining the importance of what citizenship is the NHS members played a hands on activity that allowed the students to better understand what was discussed. The main goal of the visit was to teach students how to build a better character.
