Frontera Film Festival

The time has come to celebrate once again the 8th ANNUAL FRONTERA FILM FESTIVAL. The Eagle Pass Independent School District / CTE / Audio, Video Production Teams from C. C. Winn High and Eagle Pass High have put together an amazing array of film entries from all across the state.  Festival Founder Jessie F. Fuentes states that this year they received entries from as far as Lubbock High School and La Joya High School.
The line up for the event is jam packed with some pretty amazing student produced films. In conjunction with film festival standards, the event will have presenters that will allow an opportunity for all in attendance to enlighten their perspective about film production and video game design.  The guest speakers will be providing an opportunity for individuals to listen to proven industry professionals that have been successful in their artistic profession.
FRIDAY - MAY 5, 2017 – Doors open at 6:00 p.m. – program begins at 6:30 p.m. (no admission fees).

Mr. Frank Sanchez from Eagle Pass High School will welcome all in attendance & introduce student panel.

EPHS student panel will introduce our Keynote speaker and then proceed with a Q/A session of our guest speaker Mr. Ricardo Mendoza.

Ricardo Mendoza will share a couple of his songs with those in attendance.

After Mr. Mendoza’s performance we will celebrate the 10 year anniversary release of the Winn AV Production film - EL MIEDO (A TERROR TRILOGY). The night ends around 9:30 - 10:00 p.m. 


SATURDAY MAY 6, 2017 – Doors open at 12:30 p.m. - FESTIVAL STARTS AT 1:00 p.m. (no admission fees).
(films start showing in two-three screening rooms / each film block runs for one hour  / check Frontera Film Festival on Facebook for film schedule)

1-2 p. m. - film block #1-

2-3 p. m. -  presenter #1- /Walter Fritsche - ODD-STOP FILMS / MEDIA 

3-4 p. m. - film block #2   
        
4-5 p. m. - presenter #2 - /Esteban Zaldivar - LEVEL I VIDEO GAME DESIGNER / 

5-6 p. m. - film block #3 

6-7 p. m. - Presenter #3 - /Ricardo Mendoza - INDIE PRODUCER / ARTIST.

7-8 p. m. - film block #4

8-30 p. m.- thirty minute break before the awards.

8:30 - 10 p. m. – C. C. Winn High School – presentation of the FFF Awards


10- or 10:30 - Photo Op / Event should end between 10:00 - 11:00 p. m.
