Mr. Leija's 3rd period U.S. History class took on CC Winn's "We Can & We Will" door decorating contest.
Friday, September 21st they collaborated in designing a door that best summed up Mr.Gonzalez' E.P.I.S.D. motto of "We Can and We Will", all while, incorporating historical quotes by important historical leaders.
Mr. Leija used this collaborative classroom activity to teach the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills and to motivate the class to 'Winn the Day'.
Students in Mr. Leija's class would like to wish the best of luck to all other participants in this challenge!
