Officially turning 71 years young on September 18th, the US Air Force has established itself as an air force second-to-none.
In 1947 President Truman signed the National Security Act which established a new defense organization and the creation of the US Air Force.
Celebrating this important birthday was C.C. Winn's Air Force JROTC.
Keeping with tradition, the youngest members present cut the birthday cake for all members to enjoy.
Colonel Greg Stankewicz and the AFJROTC members enjoyed birthday cake as well as held a discussion of major accomplishments and achievements of the US Air Force.
