Tuesday, September 25th, C.C. Winn students Mario Sanchez and Ricardo Garcia received bicycle helmets from Officers Rosario Fuentes and Officer Joe Ramos.
Rain or shine, these dedicated students ride their bicycles to school on a daily basis.
In their caring nature, Officer Ramos and Officer Fuentes are looking out for their safety and took it upon themselves to provide the safety equipment for the students.
The officers are trying to promote the importance of practicing bicycle safety to ensure the well being for all students at C.C. Winn.
The Maverick Family would like to remind everyone of the importance of safety on the highway by wearing helmets, looking both ways, and buckling up!
