Monday, November 12th, Mrs. Olivares at San Luis invited Mr. Reyna, a U.S. Navy Veteran, to discuss a day in the life of a Navy Sailor with her 2nd grade class.
Mr. Reyna discussed different tasks done by crew members of the navy.
He demonstrated the Semaphore Flag Signaling System, which is used when oral or electrical communication is difficult to preform.
Mr. Reyna also discussed the importance and significance of Veterans Day.
Mrs. Olivares and her students would like to thank Mr. Reyna and all Veterans for their service and bravery.
