On-going road work continues for the construction of ‘Super 2’ passing lanes between Eagle Pass and Del Rio.
This construction, which spans three counties, Maverick, Kinney and Val Verde counties, will provide safer passing alternatives for the traveling public.
Motorists are urged to drive with extreme caution, expect rough road conditions, and be prepared to slow down merge to open lanes through multiple work zones as there are work crews and heavy construction equipment present.
The traveling public should follow all safety signs and traffic control devices in the work zone.
