Friday and Saturday February 1st and 2nd, Eagle Pass High School’s Student Council hosted the District 15 Alamo Association of Student Council’s Leadership Workshop at the EPHS campus.
Fifteen high schools from surrounding communities brought 220 students and 25 advisers to our campus making this one of the most attended workshops in many years. Student leaders from San Antonio, Del Río, Floresville , etc. were in attendance.
The students had a series of sessions presented by a motivational speaker that taught them about self-esteem, leadership, and making a positive impact in their schools and communities.
EPHS StuCo worked for two weeks preparing for what turned out a very successful workshop. “I was very impressed with how hard our students worked and the long hours they put in. I am very proud of them.
The decorations were beautiful and the hospitality room was a hit. EPHS StuCo went out of their way to make our guests feel welcome and at home and everyone seemed to have a great time. I thank my EPHS StuCo members, none of this would have been possible without them,” stated Dolores Rodriguez StuCo Adviser.
