Congratulations are in order for Eagle Pass High School Senior, Rudy Villegas on receiving a $25,000 Chick-fil-A Scholarship!
Rudy and his mother Martha Villegas were flown to Anaheim, California for a two day trip for what they thought was going to be just a team member panel at conference.
They were surprised on stage by CEO Dan Cathy with a $25,000 scholarship, a day at Disneyland, IPAD, several gifts, and extended opportunity to join the Chick-fil-A Fellows program.
He was 1 of 12 recipients out of approximately 11,000 applications submitted in Fall 2018.
Rudy is a senior at Eagle Pass High School and member of the Chick-fil-A Leader Academy.
Operator Juan Garza and spouse Jacqueline are extremely proud of Rudy who was hired on the spot during Grand Opening in 2016.
Seeing tremendous potential in Rudy, Operator Juan encouraged Rudy to grow as a leader.
Within 2 years Rudy was promoted to Senior Team Member, then to a Team Leader and is currently serving as an Assistant Director.
