For the last several years C.C. Winn High School has coordinated one of the best school events in our community, the Renaissance Faire.
In Mr. Hurtado’s and Ms. Mancha’s English 2 classes, students were required to complete their studies of The Tragedy of Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare.
Students had the opportunity to increase their understanding of the significance of literature during the Renaissance Era and Shakespeare’s contribution to the world literature.
In addition, students took time from their busy schedule to research Renaissance literature, art, inventions, music, games, and wardrobe.
January 28th - 30th, students created projects to represent the era and participated in performances to give our city a memorable experience.
Mr. Hurtado and Ms. Mancha would like to congratulate their students and parents for helping make this event a success.
