Texas State Visits WHS

The college admission process can be stressful and overwhelming, which is why it is important to have some help along the way!
CC Winn High School is grateful for Lauren Wyatt from Texas State University and her very informative visit with the junior Mavericks.
When juniors start early, the process of college admissions can be less stressful and more rewarding.
The seniors also got to discuss any last minute questions about housing and orientation.
Ms. Wyatt's presentation consisted of information on the different programs of study, as well as the post-undergraduate options.
With Texas State being one of the oldest universities in the state of Texas and the fifth largest public institution with 38,000 students enrolled in Fall of 2017, it has become a great option for many Mavericks.
The central Texas location also offers close proximity to home for the many that can be a little skeptical and do not want to go too far.
Texas State consists of 10 colleges and 50 plus schools.
They are also known for the Physical Therapy program!
An added bonus is that as an NCAA Division 1 sunbelt, they provide much tradition to their student population!
Texas State is known for their renown Strutters Dance Team and notable Alumni Lyndon B Johnson and George Strait!
