Monday, February 18th, Mrs. Benavides' 3rd grade class at Graves recognized Presidents' Day.
The day is a state holiday in most states, with official names including Washington's Birthday, Presidents' Day, President's Day, and Washington's and Lincoln's Birthday.
The students learned all about the holiday during Social Studies and created essays about George Washington.
They completed the essay with a great drawing of the first president.
