Tuesday, February 5th, people around the world rang in the Chinese New Year and the Year of the Pig.
Chinese New Year is the Chinese festival that celebrates the beginning of a new year on the traditional Chinese calendar.
Mrs. Ibarra's 1st grade class at Graves Elementary joined in the celebration and created their very own dragons.
The dragon is a symbol of luck!
They also feasted on yummy Lo Mein.
