Monday, February 4th, Mrs. Benavides' 3rd grade class at Graves kicked off their week with expository writing.
Expository writing presents reasons, explanations, or steps in a process. Effective expository writing should contain a main idea, supporting details, and a conclusion.
The students worked on brainstorming and then began on their first draft.
