Mrs. Torres-Hernandez' English I students are working on improving their writing skills before STAAR testing rolls around.
To make writing a little more exciting and honor President's Day, Mrs. Torres-Hernandez had students write about leadership on Monday, February 18th.
Students were also asked to create a visual of their example.
The Mavs wrote about leaders like Martin Luther King, Malala Yousafzai, and George Washington!
