Eagle Pass ISD Police Officers and Security Officers attended an Autism Awareness Training Thursday, May 2nd and Friday May 3rd.
The training was conducted by Officer Roberto Sierra and Assistant Chief of Police C. Ynosencio.
There was a total of 29 officers in attendance.
This training featured the information that Officer Sierra, Officer Ramos and Assistant Chief Ynosencio received on April 13th at the Autism Convention.
This training will help officers recognize the indicators and effects of Autism on an individual.
"This training was very informative and I believe it will be of great benefit to our First Responders working with our school district" said Assistant Chief Ynosencio.
