Friday, May 3rd, the C. C. Winn students in Idalia Salinas’ English II class reaped the rewards of planting their seeds in biodegradable pots and plastic water bottles.
They have been watering and taking care of their plants as they awaited the sprouts.
The plants finally sprouted and they felt so proud of their plants.
Once the plants are big enough, they will be planting them in the ground at their homes.
This project has given the students a sense of ownership in their continuing efforts in saving our planet, Earth.
