Thursday, August 29th, the 5th grade students in Mr. Picazo's class at Ray Darr Elementary prepped for their 1st visit to the Science Lab.
To prepare for a big, upcoming experience, Mr. Picazo reviewed the safety procedures and lab rules.
It is essential for the students to have a firm grasp on the procedures and the proper way to wear your safety googles, gloves and apron.
They also learned that some gasses are flammable so they must always remain cautious.
