Thursday, August 29th, Mrs. Villarreal's 2nd grade class at Seco Mines Elementary was treated to a very special read aloud with their teacher.
The Miners read Doris Fisher and Dani Sneed's "One Odd Day" and "My Even Day" as an extension of their math lesson on even and odd numbers.
After the read aloud, the students worked together using pairing counters or links to explore even and odd numbers.
