On Monday, September 23rd, football players from the C.C Winn Mavericks were awarded with decals for their helmets.
Every Monday they receive decals for their football accomplishments in the last game, this includes stats, yards, touchdowns, and tackles.
The skulls are for interceptions and sacks; the stars are for the special teams; the footballs are for yards and receptions.
They get recognized not only by decals, but they get a certificate that acknowledges their game play in the recent game, and they get a round of applause by their coaches and teammates.
WHS wishes the Mavericks a good district season!
