EPHS Participates in Candles for Life

One year ago yesterday October 22nd, Eagle Pass High School's Student Council participated in Candles For Life bringing cancer awareness to their campus and most importantly to raise money for local cancer victims.
This coming week, once again, EPHS StuCo will collect money for Candles for Life and next Saturday, October 28th, they will be at Shelby Park doing their part to honor those who succumbed to Cancer and celebrating those who have triumphed over it.
Candles for Life is a wonderful local organization that raises funds for people afflicted with cancer. The best part about CFL is that all the funds stay right here in Eagle Pass.
You never know, by helping CFL, you may be helping yourself. This year’s theme is “Making the Fairytale of a Cure Come True.” The Walkathon Festival will be held at Shelby Park on Saturday, October 28th, from 4 pm to 1 am.
EPHS will have a booth at Shelby Park and they hope that you will join them.
Food booths, live music, and entertainment will be available for all.
