EPHS Science Classroom Door Wows

October 16th - 20th was Red Ribbon Week at Eagle Pass High School.
During their recent unit about Atomic Structure, the 5th period students in Ms. Byrne's Chemistry class discovered cigarette smokers are exposed to more radioactive materials a year than anyone else.
In order to raise awareness and promote a drug free lifestyle, the class participated in the campus wide door decorating competition with the slogan "The future is key- be drug free!"
The students related their decoration back to Science with a 'Back to the Future' inspired door.
Win or lose, the students were thrilled with their door and were happy to inspire EPHS to be drug free!
