Friday, October 13th, C.C. Winn's Thundering Maverick band met in the evening for their first ever stadium rehearsal.
As Maverick Band Assistant, Jose Raul Perez, stated, “We give “Friday Night Lights” a whole new meaning.”
The rehearsal was held at Old Eagle Field on Del Rio Boulevard.
The band met to perfect and clean their 2017 marching show “Turn to Stone.”
The rehearsal was open to the public and boy, was there a turn out!
Many band members' parents and siblings stayed to watch their kids practice.
The band has been working diligently since July 10th on their marching show and their hard work and dedication has shown!
They have found success in several competitions attended this school year!
