The National Honor Society has started its run for the crown. With a whole new set of minds and an untapped source of creativity, NHS is confident to sweep this year’s homecoming. They have chosen an all-time favorite children’s book theme, “The Lorax,” in an effort to appeal to, not only the children’s hearts, but also this year’s judges, while also promoting and advancing their newly developed green initiative.
NHS is putting in the extra effort in an attempt to secure their spot at the top on the 2017-2018 Homecoming competitions for float and representatives.
Their candidates, Gladys Contreras and Alan Gonzales, are confident that their chances of bringing home this year’s homecoming Crown are extremely high.
