Seniors from C. C. Winn High School were given the opportunity to visit Angelo Sate University in San Angelo, Texas on Saturday, November 3rd.
Mrs. Maria Luisa Uriegas, College Adviser, exposed her students to yet another great Texas university which brings them one step closer to the pursuit of the educational goals.
Students were granted a personal experience as they directly witnessed the college's history and were afforded the rich traditions of ASU.
Before they departed, Winn students came across Alexis Perez, a C.C Winn alumni, who graduated this past school year.
Her advice to the students was essential for any graduating student, "Please take Dual Credit Courses because it has really helped me while attending college!"
Perez further advised them to expand themselves and go beyond the comforts of home to experience diversity and obtain different insights of the world.
