While the majority of students had a relaxing Spring Break, The Border Patrol Explorers and C.C Winn High School’s Criminal Justice Team joined Mission Border Hope.
The groups worked with Mission Border Hope to build bunk beds for students in need.
The project named “Camas Para Ninos” was created by Bruce Ballou and its objective was to build 10 bunk beds and distribute them to children in dire straights who have been identified as sleeping on floors or couches in our community.
On March 12th, the cutting, drilling, painting, and assembling began and did not finish until all beds were distributed on March 14th.
The Border Patrol Explorers and WHS Criminal Justice would like to thank all individuals involved for their dedication this Spring Break!
