Tuesday, March 20th, C.C.Winn's National Honor Society members decided that in order to create a friendly and warm environment for every 6th grader at Rosita Valley Elementary they would host a small Easter egg hunt!
It was a great way to kick off the first day of spring with some fresh air and tie in the Guiding Angels' lesson on citizenship.
The students were very attentive to the lesson and comprehended everything tremendously. They also created statements over how they would become a good Samaritan one day. Later the same morning, the Angels were guided to the back of the school where they had an egg hunt with their classmates and class leaders.
All in all, it was an extraordinary experience for both the 6th grade Roadrunners and the Winn Mavericks!
A huge thank you to RVE Principal, Mrs. Cynthia Guedea, for allowing NHS to host this Easter event.
